Giving information about the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Fund Serv, Nirmala Sitharaman said that under this project, the government will give an advance amount of up to Rs 3 lakh to the artisans at a concessional interest rate of 5 percent without giving any loan. Initially, an advance amount of Rs 1 lakh will be given under this plot until the advance is reimbursed by the recipient. He will be given an additional payment of Rs. 2 lakh.
The benefits of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana will be available to persons involved in 18 professions like carpenters, goldsmiths, metal workers, masons, stone sculptors, barbers, and craftsmen.
