It’s not the G-20 anymore! It’s now G-21! G20 is now G-21 Prime Minister of India has collectively announced in Bharat Mandapam inviting the President of the African Union to the high table and saying that now Africa is also a part of G-20
Its official African Union is now a permanent member of the G20. Modi ji as Prime Minister of India, invites the President of the African Union to the high table. After this proposal, India became proud.
In announcing this, PM Modi took the G20 program forward with everyone’s consent and talked to China on ten very important issues, which included climate change, economic cooperation, security and stability, unity in diversity, inclusive development, and global responsibility.
India’s Prime Minister Modi spoke about One Earth in the first meeting of the session.
India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit on September 9–10, 2023, at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This is the first G20 summit to be hosted by India. I look forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days.
I strongly believe that the New Delhi G20 Summit will pave a new path in human-centric and inclusive development.
