President and PM Commemorate Sacrifice of Security Personnel in 2001 Parliament Attack

Today, we remember and pay heartfelt tributes to the brave security personnel martyred in the Parliament attack in 2001. Their courage and sacrifice in the face of danger will forever be etched in our nation’s memory.

President Murmu encouraged to emphasize the vow to wipe out fear mongering whereas recollecting the soldiers.

President Droupadi Murmu, Bad habit President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Serve Narendra Modi, Union domestic serve Amit Shah, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge among other dignitaries paid tribute to security faculty who laid down their lives within the 2001 fear assault on Parliament.

Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Pioneer of Restriction in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury beside Kharge moreover paid flower tributes to the fallen troopers. All the pioneers counting PM Modi, Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla watched a minute’s quiet at the Parliament premises.

 

President Murmu encouraged to emphasize

Terrorists of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed outfits assaulted the Parliament complex on December 13, 2001, murdering nine individuals. All five fear mongers were gunned down by the security forces.

President Murmu encouraged to emphasize the vow to wipe out fear mongering whereas recollecting the soldiers.

“On this day, 22 years ago, the evil arrangement of fear based oppressors to dispense with the beat line of political authority of the nation and harm our Sanctuary of Popular government was thwarted by the courageous security facultycounting the nine who laid down their lives for the homeland,” Murmu said in a post on X (once Twitter). “Their give up will not be permitted to go in unsuccessful as we emphasize nowadays our promise to wipe out fear mongering — a risk to mankind all over — in all its shapes and appearances,” she added.

PM Modi said, “Their strength and willingness to give up within the face of threat will until the end of time be carved in our nation’s memory.”

“We keep in mind the courageous faculty who made the incomparable give up, whereas the Parliament was assaulted on this day in 2001. We bow to their unyielding strength and are, until the end of time, obliged to them. Our contemplations stay with their families. India stands joined together against terrorism,” Kharge composed on X.
